Ah, where to start? Two long-time platonic friends decide to have a child and then continue their separate love / sex lives. Gee, I wonder if they?ll get together by the end of the movie? Since you can see every plot development coming from a mile away, you?ll have figured out the entire plot about 30 seconds into the movie. All you can do is hope that it's a mercifully short movie. On the other hand, if you liked ?Bridesmaids,? you?ll love ?Friends with Kids.? (I didn?t and I don?t.) It?s literally the TV-series ?Friends,? with kids. Wow, what a concept. Or, ?When Harry met Sally,? but with none of the fun, humor or romance. Possible the most unpleasant group of characters ever assembled in one movie, and full of gratuitous and unnecessary coarse and crude language. I have nothing against gratuitous sex, violence or language, but here it detracts from the movie rather than adding anything at all.

I thought it started out a little slow, but I soon got into it. Seemed to have a Woody Allen flavor to it. Great job by Adam Scott, who is quite a talent who is really coming into his own. This is not a movie for kids since there is quite graphic language. I do recommend seeing this film.

Started out strong; lot of laughs, but then it got too serious for my tastes. I don't think I'm gonna rush out and buy the blu-ray.

All the trailers made it seem like the movie would be a funny one. While there are a few funny scenes, the movie is much more serious. The characters were believable and the ultimate outcome was predictable. Bring tissues!

Sweet film. Not great art...but entertaining, Moms AND Dads are important, for everyone involved.
